Employee arrested for making false transactions, stealing from workplace
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY)- A Lexington man was arrested for creating false payouts in order to steal from his employer.
Nicholas Johnson managed to get into a work computer and made false transactions to gain access to money in the cash register.
Johnson then stole more than $1,500 from his workplace between two incidents, one in November and the other on January 2nd.
He was arrested at the Moe's Southwest Grill in Hamburg Tuesday.
Johnson is charged with theft by deception and unlawful access to a computer.
