Lexington Police arrest man in kidnapping case


Lexington Police have arrested a man in connection with a kidnapping.

Police made the arrest around 9 p.m. on Friday near Versailles Road and Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Officers say they pulled over David Howard who was wanted for kidnapping, robbery, and assault.

According to an arrest citation the victim knew the three men who assaulted him. Police say the man was forced to take off his clothes, blind folded and beaten.

The victim told police that the three men also took his wallet and cell phone.

The citation details that two of the men were taking the victim out to a car when he was able to break free. The victim told police that men were going to kill him.

According to the citation neighbors nearby saw what was going on and called police.

Police say they are still looking for the two other men involved.
