Murder suspect arrested in Georgetown traffic stop
GEORGETOWN, Ky. - An Ohio murder suspect is behind bars after a traffic stop in Georgetown.
Columbus, Ohio police contacted authorities in Georgetown about a murder suspect who was believed to be traveling on Interstate 75.
Officers found a vehicle matching the description on Outlet Center Drive. Police pulled over the vehicle and arrested the suspect, Deshon Gregory Sallee, without incident.
This comes after police say they found two separate gunshot victims on one street in Columbus, after reports of multiple gunshots being fired in and outside of one residence on the street.
The pair was separately transported to a nearby hospital where one of the victims later died as a result of their injuries.
Police say they don't know exactly what role Sallee played in the incident.
Sallee was a passenger in the vehicle. A female driver is being detained to see if she had any role in the crime.
