Richmond neighborhood repeatedly targeted by burglars hit again
MADISON COUNTY, Ky. - People living in a central Kentucky neighborhood ended up being targeted by a burglar. Someone committed a rash of car break-ins in the Shady Oak Estates area of Richmond.
Jonathan Campbell says he caught a man on camera going through his wife's car early Tuesday morning. One of his neighbors told us around the same time, someone walked into their garage and stole a purse and makeup bag out of their car.
Neighbors say this isn't the first time they've had to deal with individuals trying to get into cars and garages.
"They got in, got a couple of my wallets, just took some random stuff out of the truck," said Jordan Moss. "Probably 3, 4 a.m. I just left it open.. just careless. But I lock it now. Always."
Neighbors say a deputy came out to the subdivision to investigative.
