Teen girl dies in Pulaski County wreck
SOMERSET, Ky. - The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a teen girl killed in an early Monday morning wreck.
Authorities say the wreck happened on Ky. 39 north of Somerset. When a deputy arrived, he found a vehicle flipped upside down in a ditch.
The driver, Madison Hannah of Somerset, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers in the car.
Investigators believe the car did not properly negotiate a curve and rolled over several times. It appears Hannah was not wearing a seat belt.
Wet road conditions may have played a role in the wreck.
Hannah had just completed her junior year at Pulaski County High School and was a member of the softball team.
