Three charged with drug trafficking in Montgomery County
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (WDKY)- During a traffic stop, Montgomery County deputies say three were arrested for trafficking meth.
The arrests occurred on Monday after deputies say they pulled over a vehicle for a traffic stop. Upon investigation, they say they found nearly two ounces of crystal methamphetamine, heroin, a firearm, and paraphernalia.
Brandi Baxter of Ohio, Ryan Ingram of Jeffersonville, and Charles Jones of Jeffersonville were all arrested and charged with trafficking 1st-degree 1st offense methamphetamine, trafficking 1st-degree heroin, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, receiving stolen property-firearm, and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies say one individual has been released on a bond from another jurisdiction for trafficking charges currently.
The traffic stop was part of a drug trafficking operation in Montgomery, Menifee, and Powell Counties.
