Vigil held in Triangle Park one year after 15-year-old murdered
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Friends are remembering the life of 15-year-old Bobby Durrum after he was gunned down one year ago.
15-year-old Robert "Bobby" Durrum died after being shot on Belmont Drive in January 2017.
Family and friends came together to Triangle Park to remember the teenager they say was loved by all.
Durrum was Lexington's second homicide of 2017. Police say the teen was shot and found near Belmont Drive in Lexington. He was taken to the hospital where he later died. Police arrested Demarcus Bowie and charged him with murder.
Friday marked the one-year anniversary of the murder. A balloon release balloons was held in Triangle Park in downtown Lexington Friday night to remember Durum.
