Voter info for Kentucky primary elections
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) - Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday for Kentucky's primary election.
As long as you're in line by 6 p.m. you will be allowed to vote, but it doesn't hurt to plan ahead to give yourself plenty of time.
If you need to know where to cast your ballot, you can go to govoteky.com. There, you can check where your polling place is and look at a sample ballot.
When you get to your voting location you might have to show some ID unless the worker knows you personally. The ID can be a driver's license, social security card, or a credit cad. It doesn't have to have a picture on it.
The Secretary of State's office is also keeping an eye on voting fraud. If you see something you like to report, call the State Board of Elections at 502-573-7100.
