Woman accused of helping Richmond murder suspect avoid police
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) - A Lexington woman is accused of helping a murder suspect avoid arrest.
Kierra Berry is charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension.
On November 2, Berry was warned by the U.S. Marshal's Service that it was illegal to help Eltron Bailey avoid arrest for an outstanding murder charge, according to her arrest citation.
Eltron Bailey and his twin brother, Elton Bailey, are accused of murdering Jaicoatai Dean, 21, on Foxhaven Drive in Richmond on October 7.
Richmond police say the twins live in Lexington.
On November 12, Lexington police say they spotted Berry driving Bailey. He fled the car and got away.
The next day, police say they saw Berry driving Bailey again. She was arrested Monday on Newtown Pike.
Berry will be arraigned Tuesday.
