Woman killed in Lexington crash
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) - —
A woman is dead and three other people were injured after a late night crash Saturday in Lexington.
It happened just before 11 p.m. Saturday on Athens Boonesboro Road.
Police say a driver lost control and overcorrected, after another car swerved into their lane. The car that lost control flipped into the median and landed in the outbound lanes.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The Fayette County Coroner has identified the victim as Natasha Nicole Lee, 26.
Three others were treated for minor injuries.
Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The outbound lanes of Richmond Road and Athens Boonesboro were closed for several hours while officials reconstructed the scene. The roads have been reopened.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
