Recipes for your game day parties

Reuben Dip

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 stick of Minerva Dairy Butter
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 lb. of Lacey Swiss Cheese
  • 1/2 lb. of Corned Beef
  • 1 large can of Sauerkraut
  • 4 slices of Jewish Rye Bread
  • Russian or Thousand Island Dressing

1/2 stick of Minerva Dairy Butter and add

  1. Melt 1/2 stick of Minerva Dairy Butter and add half cup of milk in a saucepan, add 1 lb. of Lacey Swiss and whisk until smooth.
  2. Transfer to crock pot and chop 1/2 lb. of corned beef and add to mixture. Add 1 large can of sauerkraut and stir.
  3. Serve with toast slices.

Meatball and Sausage Bombs

Ingredients:

  • 4 cooked meatballs
  • 1 hot Italian sausage link, cooked (sliced into ½ bites)
  • Mozzarella or Provolone cheese
  • 4 oz. Minerva Dairy Garlic and Herb Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. hard Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 1 roll of pizza dough
  • 1 can of crushed pear tomatoes
  • 4 oz. Minerva Dairy Garlic and Herb Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Roll out dough and brush with melted Garlic and Herb Butter. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese
  3. Cut dough into squares large enough to roll meatballs into (approximately 3" x 3") and place a small amount of mozzarella or provolone Cheese in each square and top with a meatball or piece of Italian sausage
  4. Roll each corner into the center covering the meat and cheese. Make sure each “bomb" has no holes in the dough
  5. Place on a baking sheet and brush each "bomb" with Garlic and Herb Butter
  6. Bake at 375 degrees in the oven until dough is golden

To make the sauce:

  1. Melt 4 oz. Minerva Dairy Garlic and Herb Butter, add 1 can of crushed pear tomatoes, oregano and sugar
  2. Simmer for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally
