UK gets rematch with UCLA in Sweet 16
No. 2 seed Kentucky will take on No. 3 seed UCLA in the NCAA Tournament South Regional in Memphis Friday night at approximately 9:40 p.m. ET in the round of 16. The game will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of the South Regional's matchup between No. 1 seed North Carolina and No. 4 seed Butler.
The Bruins beat the Wildcats during the regular season at Rupp Arena on December 3, 97-92. UCLA defeated No. 6 seed Cincinnati 79-57 Sunday night to advance.
Kentucky topped no. 10 seed Wichita State 65-62 Sunday. The Wildcats needed two big blocked shots in the final 30 seconds of the game to preserve the win.
De'Aaron Fox and Malik Monk each had 14 points for Kentucky. Bam Adebayo added 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Wichita State was led by 20 points from Landry Shamet.
