High School Sports Extra airing Thursday to cover rescheduled games
The Fox 56 High School Sports Extra, which typically airs on Friday nights, will instead air Thursday night at 10:40 p.m. due to a large number of area football games being moved from Friday to Thursday because of the threat of inclement weather.
More than 40 high school football games have been moved from the normal Friday night kick offs in Kentucky due anticipated effect from the remnants of Hurricane Harvey over the next few days. Many schools have opted for Thursday night, while others have pushed games to Saturday.
As a result of so many games being played on Thursday night, the Fox 56 High School Sports Extra will air on Thursday night at 10:40 p.m. instead of Friday this week.
