In stores nationwide, consumers are feeling the increased demand with one pricing service reporting a jump of $129 dollars this week alone – the largest on record.

Experts point to inflation and severe flooding in British Columbia as culprits for these rising prices.

Average intelligence

Does your “average Joe or Joan” have the same smarts as some highly-revered science people?

A new British study tested groups of rocket scientists and brain surgeons against average people, in an intelligence test with six domains.

They concluded the average people are as intelligent as those “brainiacs” and testing showed no difference in four of those six domains.

Elon Musk and Elizabeth Warren

The entrepreneur behind SpaceX reveals a stratospheric number in how much he’ll pay in taxes.

 Elon Musk the founder of SpaceX and CEO of tesla electric cars tweeted he’ll be paying 11-billion in taxes this year.

Last week, Musk and Massachusetts Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren traded barbs over taxes.

Warren claimed musk is  “freeloading off everyone else.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Marvel fans packed theaters worldwide to watch the opening weekend for Sony’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Now has the third best domestic opening weekend in cinema history, behind only Avenger’s Endgame and Avenger’s: Infinity War.

The film took in 253 million dollars.

Spider-Man is proving to be a lifeline for the movie industry still recovering from months of shutdowns during pandemic lockdowns.


It’s almost time to ring in the new year.

The famous numerals, 2022, are to be placed atop Times Square have arrived.

The massive seven-foot-tall 2022 numerals wrapped up a cross-country trip from California.  They’ll be placed high above Times Square, for the official ball drop to welcome 2022.
