Sandstorms

In Cairo, a gray cloud of dust blocks out the sky as blinding sandstorms continue to lash parts of Egypt.

With wind speed reaching forty miles per hour over the Mediterranean the sun was barely visible today.

Sand and rainstorms forced five ports on the Mediterranean and the red sea to close, including the country’s biggest in Alexandria.

Schools were also closed in Cairo and elsewhere as a precaution.

Christmas tree fire

A massive Christmas tree torched outside the news corp. building in New York City is being replaced.

 The 50-foot tree outside Fox News headquarters was engulfed in flames shortly after midnight Wednesday.

 Police said a 49-year-old homeless man was arrested and charged with arson.

 Crews are now hard at work in Mount Vernon, N.Y. getting a replacement ready.

Oldest living Tuskegee Airman

The oldest living Tuskegee airman celebrates his birthday.

 Retired brigadier general Charles McGee turned 102 Tuesday,

 He visited the joint base in San Antonio, Texas a day earlier.

 The 99th flying training squadron trains at the base.
