Georgetown Police are trying to track down Jordan Wright in a manslaughter investigation.
Authorities say the 21-year-old supplied the drugs that led to a Georgetown resident’s death.
“We do attempt, where we can, prosecute these cases despite the difficulties. And we don’t regard overdose deaths as a lost statistic,” said Georgetown Police Sergeant Victor DeSoto. “We regard them as a very serious offense and we investigate them as homicides as the legislature has changed the law.”
Police say Wright has connections in Georgetown and Lexington.
There are two active warrants for her arrest. One for second degree manslaughter and the other for trafficking heroin.
