WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WKYT) – A Whitley County man is going to see if he can win a $1 million prize in the next season of Survivor.

Public defender Nick Wilson, 27, of Williamsburg, is one of the people competing on the reality show.

The next season, “Survivor: David vs. Goliath,” will feature two groups. The Davids are those who are described as those ” who have scratched and clawed their way through life to prove themselves, overcome adversity, and earned everything they’ve got.” The Goliaths will be those who came from privilege, “and have capitalized on their advantage to crush the competition, be it in business, education, or the professional wrestling ring.”

Wilson will be among the “Davids” in the upcoming season. This will be Survivor’s 37th season.

The season will begin in the fall.
