LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) – A man has been charged with murder following a deadly Laurel County crash.

According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, 21-yar-old Joshua Poore from Clovis, California, has been charged with murder after a Monday night wrong-way crash at exit 38 in London that killed three others.

Investigators said they believe Poore was drunk at the time of the crash.

Poore is charged with 3 counts of murder.

Officials said Poore was driving a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, north in the southbound lane when it crashed into a Nissan Altima.

All three individuals in the Altima were reported deceased at the scene as a result of the collision, according to police.

Poore reportedly sustained severe but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to UK Hospital.

The identity of the three deceased Nissan Altima occupants has not been released, but they are believed to be from the Chicago area, according to a press release from the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
