Danville police investigate several reports of water gun drive-bys

DANVILLE, Ky. (WDKY) – Police in Danville say they have investigated several reports in the downtown area of pedestrians and vehicles being struck by water bead projectiles.

Police the perpetrators have shot unsuspecting victims from a moving vehicle.

Police say they have since developed several suspects and have seized Splat-R-Ball Blasters that are used to shoot the water beads.

Anyone who may have been a victim should contact the Danville Police Department at 859-238-1224 and ask to speak with a supervisor.
