BENTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Kentucky State Police troopers are searching for an inmate who escaped the Marshall County Detention Center.

Reports indicate the escaped inmate is 38-year-old Gregory S. Sullivan. He is described as being a white male with green eyes and brown hair, standing approximately 5 foot 5 inches tall, and weighing 158 pounds.

Sullivan is reported to have a tattoo of a knife on his left shoulder and the word “KAOS” on his left forearm. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, black sweatpants, and tennis shoes.

Troopers said Sullivan was last seen around 11 p.m. on March 15. His means of escape from the detention facility, as well as where he plans to travel, are unknown.

Sullivan was incarcerated on counts of stolen property and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
