SYMSONIA, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) were involved in a multi-county chase in western Kentucky that ended in the arrest of a 32-year-old mother.

Police said the chase started in Graves County after Brittany A. Kimsey assaulted her young daughter.

Kimsey’s daughter called 911 around 4:30 in the afternoon on Jan. 20.

Troopers saw Kimsey’s 2011 red Chevy HHR leaving the area while they were on the way to the scene.

Police stated Kimsey drove east in the westbound lane of Highway 62, almost colliding with troopers.

The chase ended after she crashed in McCracken County on Benton Road.

KSP is still investigating the alleged assault.
