LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) – Authorities have arrested an East Bernstadt man they said allegedly fired a gun from a car toward people on April 4.

Laurel County Sheriff John Root said they arrested 64-year-old Terry A. Roark around 6:21 p.m. Saturday, April 9, off Orchard Road. Roark was served a warrant of arrest related to a shooting earlier in the month where he allegedly fired a weapon from a vehicle toward three individuals at a residence.

Investigators determined Roark was a convicted felon and said he faces charges of trafficking controlled substances in addition to the warrant charges of wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, persistent felony offender, and violation of Kentucky EPO.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said a female victim had an active EPO on Roark.

He was booked into the Laurel County Correctional Center.
