LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) – A deadly hit-and-run is under investigation in Lincoln County.
The coroner says around 7:15 a.m. Sunday a man’s body was found in the front yard of a home on KY 3246, just off of KY 39. The coroner thinks the accident happened between approximately 1 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.
The coroner says the investigation shows the victim died from internal injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
We’re told the victim is a 46-year-old man from Georgia. The coroner says the victim told his mother he was walking to Washington, D.C.
The victim’s name has not been released.
