HAZARD, Ky. (FOX 56) – Dozens of individuals attended a job fair at the Hazard/Perry County Senior Center Thursday.

Attendees were seeking employment opportunities, many of which included a $3,000 cash sign-on bonus.

“Not only is it great for Perry County residents, but this is great for citizens all over east Kentucky,” said Perry County Judge-Executive, Scott Alexander. “We’re so happy when we can partner with surrounding communities to help create jobs for anyone living in Appalachia.”

Another multi-company job fair will be held at the Corbin Center Thursday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
