BARDSTOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) – After nine years since Bardstown police officer Jason Ellis was murdered, police still need help solving the case.

The total reward for information stands at $218,000 as investigators try to track down the shooter. According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, $185,000 was deposited in Wilson & Muir Bank & Trust Co. and $33,000 ($1,000 for each year of Ellis’ life) was pledged by restaurateur Jeff Ruby.
He left behind a wife and two sons.
