LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – An eight-year-old girl was critically injured after being hit by a car on Thursday night at the Tates Creek Road and Gainesway intersection.
Police said the girl was trying to cross the street with a family member when she was hit.
No one else was hurt.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
