LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) – Crews responded to a house fire in Lexington early Monday morning on Georgetown Street.
Firefighters say chest-high debris, described as “junk,” blocked them from entering the home from the front door. They say part of the ceiling also collapsed when they tried to enter through the back.
Crews had to fight the fire entirely from the outside.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters aren’t sure if anyone was living in the home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
