LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Lexington Police Department is investigating a triple homicide that occurred Wednesday afternoon on the city’s west side.

Officers responded around 4 p.m. to a report of an armed disturbance in the 1000 block of Caywood Drive. Upon arrival, police confirmed they found three females who had been shot and were later pronounced dead at the scene.

A wife and two daughters were shot, according to Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn, and he believes the person who is now in custody is the husband of one of the victims.

The Fayette County coroner released the names of the three women: 65-year-old Lisa Wilson, 42-year-old Bryonny Wilson, and 38-year-old Bronwyn Wilson, all of Lexington.

Police sources and friends told FOX 56—and the Lexington Police Department later confirmed—that Steven Wilson, 64, was the suspect.

Steven has been charged with three counts of murder.

FOX 56 learned that Steven took to Facebook shortly after the crime.

“Okay, so all my friends…. I have just shot an killed my wife and two daughters with a pistol,” Steven’s post said.

Another post by Steven on Wednesday said, “…just want to lay down and sleep until I dunno…the end?”

Steven is currently detained at the Fayette County Detention Center.
