Estill County man accused of seeking minors for sex online
IRVINE, Ky. (WDKY) - Kentucky State Police say an Estill County man is behind bars facing a child sexual exploitation charge.
The state's Electronic Crime Branch arrested 42-year-old Andy Estes Thursday and charged him with prohibited use of electronic communications to procure a minor for sex offenses.
Investigators say he was using social media to engage in sexual conduct with minors, and they obtained a search warrant to seize electronic devices.
The devices are currently in a crime lab for examinations.
Estes could face one to five years in prison if convicted. He is currently in the Three Forks Regional Jail.
