FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Franklin County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim from a fatal fire on Bradley Street as 63-year-old Anthony Graham.
The fire engulfed the Frankfort resident’s home in the early morning hours of Jan. 27.
A post-mortem examination done on the scene indicated that Graham’s cause of death was likely smoke inhalation.
Graham was pronounced dead by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office at 4:08 a.m. on Jan 27.
An autopsy has been performed and is expected to yield results in 12 to 14 weeks.
An ongoing investigation into the fire is being jointly performed by the Frankfort Police Department, Franklin County Coroners Office, and fire investigators.
First responders have indicated one unidentified person was found deceased on the scene of a fire in Frankfort.
Frankfort Fire Chief Wayne Briscoe said the fire occurred at 2:20 a.m. on Jan. 27 at a home on Bradley Street.
It was a heavy fire that caused significant damage to the home and officials are not sure if the house was occupied, according to Briscoe.
Investigators said the fire is under investigation and that it may take some time to determine what caused it.
