The festival runs until July 24. Whether you’re interested in jewelry making, blacksmithing, painting, or writing, there is something for everyone.
The learnshops are open to people of all ages and will include more than 60 artist instructors.
“Our learnshops, they give people the opportunity to not just purchase art or watch a demonstrations but they’re actually able to be emersed into the experience itself and the thing that makes our learnshops different is all the instructors are experienced, it’s that one on one attention. It’s a very elevated level of teaching which is very, very nice,” said Liz Todd, Berea tourism program manager.
Since the first Festival of Learnshops in 2011, the event has exploded from five days in July to 10. Participants can select among classes that last from two hours to three days.
