LEXINGTON Ky. (FOX 56) – The University of Kentucky has a lot of slots to fill, so they held a job fair to showcase opportunities.

It all happened at Kroger Field earlier Saturday. Department representatives from UK’s main and health care campuses were on hand to discuss future opportunities and open positions.

UK has more than 700 job openings, so university staff saw this as the perfect way to highlight all there is to offer.

“It’s been a very diverse group. We’re looking for all kinds of positions. We’re really a small city at UK, so if it’s a job, we probably do it somewhere on our campus. We have people from all levels of education, experience, everybody from across the community coming out to see how they might find their place and their next career at UK,” said UK Human Resources Communications Manager Steve Ivey.
