Former Fayette County principal investigated by Kentucky education agency

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – State investigators are looking into a former Fayette County principal.

According to the Herald-Leader, a new report says Ronda Runyon and other school administrators were “too involved” in school council teacher elections.

She retired as principal of Morton Middle School last year.

Runyon says she never tried to sway the elections.

Investigators say she’ll have to go through training if she wants to work in education in Kentucky again.
