GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) – A Georgetown man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend was sentenced to 45 years in prison.

Sheena Baxter went missing around Valentine’s Day more than two years ago.

Baxter’s body was found near Hick’s home and after an investigation, he was charged with murder and robbery among other violations.

Hicks was sentenced to 25 years for murder and 20 years for robbery which he will serve consecutively.
