BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) – A fundraiser has been created to pay for impound fees for the limo that crashed into a creek in Bourbon County on New Year’s Eve.

The limo’s owner has appropriately named the GoFundMe page “New Year’s Limo Fun, Gone Wrong”.

The page hopes to raise impound funds equating to $5,500.

The owner took to Facebook where he stated, “I want to apologize for my car being placed where it never should have been.”

Talk about the incident was rampant in the area surrounding its origin on Ruddles Mill Road, largely in part because the limo had a tall pole sticking up on its rear.

The owner said contrary to popular belief, the pole was put there to simply fly a flag.
