LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — An event in Lexington this week is sure to satisfy your taste buds.
Lexington burger week kicked off Monday and runs through Sunday. More than 30 restaurants across town are participating by providing one-of-a-kind $7 burgers with toppings including bacon, macaroni and more.
There’s even burger inspired ice cream and spirits. Staff that help make the event possible said it’s a great event for the community.
“I think this is great for the community. I think it’s great for the restaurants. It really shows the community feel and support around Lexington and the restaurants, and people love to eat and come out, so we’re really excited about how robust this year is. It’s the biggest year we’ve had in the past four years and I’m really excited that so many restaurants have joined in,” said Alexandra Martin, director of events at Smiley Pete Publishing.
