Lexington man accused of trying to sell stolen items on social media
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) - Lexington police say a man is behind bars after committing multiple burglaries before trying to sell the stolen items on social media.
Police say they found stolen items up for sale on social media, and they connected the items to 32-year-old Edward Woods.
Detectives set up a meeting with Woods posing as someone who was attempting to purchase some of the property. When Woods arrived at the meeting point he was placed into police custody.
Woods is charged with three counts of second-degree burglary. He is currently in the Fayette County Detention Center.
Police say Woods could face additional charges.
