LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56/WKYT) – Two Lexington private schools are investigating a video.

The video appears to show Lexington Catholic students harassing a mascot from Lexington Christian Academy.

The schools’ football teams played Friday night.

LCA beat Lexington Catholic 43 to 7.

Leaders from both schools say they’re working together to investigate the video.

The schools released these statements about what happened:

“Lexington Catholic Administration is aware of the video and currently investigating the incident. We are working with Lexington Christian Academy.”

“LCA is aware of a situation that allegedly took place Friday evening during a home football game. School administrators are cooperating fully with authorities during their ongoing investigation.”

FOX 56 also talked to KHSAA commissioner Julian Tackett. He would not comment, other than to say he was aware of the incident and that it fell out of the jurisdiction of the KHSAA.
