LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Wednesday, the community will have their one opportunity to meet in person with the five finalists for Fayette County Public Schools superintendent.
The five candidates come from school districts all over the country and after taking part in virtual forums last week. They are all in town for the meet and greet Wednesday night.
It starts at 7 p.m. at Frederick Douglass and lasts until 8:30.
This is the chance for parents, students, and others in the community to ask the five finalists their own questions or follow up with them on questions asked in the forums.
The district has been asking for feedback from the community before making a final decision which could be made as soon as the coming days.
A survey to give feedback is open right now on the district’s website. It will close at midnight on June 2.
