LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – The trial of a man accused of murdering a 2021 Lexington rapper will begin on Monday.
26-year-old Jacouri Burns is accused of shooting and killing 22-year-old Lonnie Oxendine.
Oxendine was shot around 5:15 p.m. outside the Marriott Hotel at City Center while he was filming a music video. He later died at the hospital.
Burns is currently charged with first-degree murder and second-degree assault.
