LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) – Nearly 50 additional Fayette students and staff members have been quarantined after more positive COVID-19 cases.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reports 46 students and two staff members have been quarantined.
FCPS Spokeswoman Lisa Deffendall told Herald-Leader, the new cases are at Coventry Oak Elementary, Cardinal Valley Elementary and Glendover Elementary.
Deffendall told the Herald-Leader that this week’s Cardinal Valley and Glendover cases have no connection to the ones reported last week.
Students and staff will be quarantined for 10 days per CDC guidelines and will have class virtually.
