NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) – A routine Nicholasville police traffic stop turned into a drug bust.
Early Wednesday, the Nicholasville Police Department pulled over a vehicle to conduct a traffic stop. According to the police, the subsequent investigation uncovered the following:
- 12 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- Eight grams of suspected cocaine
- 16 grams of suspected heroin
- Two handguns

The operator of the vehicle in question was charged with a DUI as well as trafficking offenses.
