NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WDKY) - A Nicholasville worker says she was in her office at the time police say an intoxicated driver went through the building she was in Tuesday evening.

Nicholasville police say Robin Terry ran a red light while driving in the middle of two lanes on Main Street, and collided with a deputy’s cruiser before slamming into the building where Tabatha James was working.

"I was sitting at my desk working," Arivs Appraisal Management executive director Tabatha James said, "It was about ten after six, and I heard a big crash. I stood up at my desk, about to walk over to the window, and when I stood up then the crash came through my wall. Very scary."

The deputy was very sore after the wreck but is expected to make a full recovery.

Terry was booked in the Jessamine County Detention Center where she faces several charges including DUI.
