LEXINGTON, Ky. (WDKY) – Lexington Police hope someone from the public can help identify a man they say groped a woman at a Kroger grocery store.

Officers say they were called to the Kroger on Richmond Road on the evening of August 28th, after a woman reported an unknown man had approached her and touched her in a sexual manner while she was shopping. Investigators say the woman walked away from the man and notified store employees.

Police say they believe the suspect may have approached or followed other customers in the store.

On Thursday, the Lexington Police Department released a photograph of the subject, who is described as standing around 5’4” tall. He’s believed to be in his 20’s or 30’s.

Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call Lexington Police at (859) 258-3600. Anonymous tips, including photos and videos, can be submitted by texting LEXPD plus the tip to CRIMES (274637). Information can also be sent anonymously through Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at (859) 253-2020 or www.bluegrasscrimestoppers.com.
