LEXINGTON Ky. (FOX 56) – The school year is coming to a close and groups around town are connecting local teens with summer jobs.
The organization partners for youth held registration for their summer youth job training program Saturday. This program provides workforce training for upcoming 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.
It’s in collaboration with Lexington’s business and community-based partners. Participants work up to 20 hours a week and earn $15 an hour paid by Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
The summer youth job training program will run for 6 weeks, June 13 through July 22.
