WILMORE– As we know, it’s difficult to mark big celebrations right now with everyone in quarantine, but the staff at Wesley Village Retirement Center wanted to help one couple celebrate their second anniversary.

The center’s master chef prepared a steak dinner for Art and Nancy Stovall, which they enjoyed in the privacy of their apartment. The dinner was staged with candles, roses and romantic music.

Art is 97 years old. Nancy is younger, but we’ll be polite and keep her age a secret. The two, who have known each other for 40 years, both lost their first spouses  and married each other two years ago in a ceremony at Wesley Village.
