LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Star Wars fans celebrate their love of force during a yearly holiday on May 4, but this year

Also known as Star Wars day, May 4 is a day where fans will make puns, share pop culture facts and consume all things Star Wars.

A parade and night of fun are planned to help these fans get together and celebrate.

The event is on May 4, of course, from 6-10 p.m. at Henry A. Tandy Centennial Park. Along with the parade, there will be food trucks, performances, live music from the movie, a DJ, and more.

The DJ will start a party at 9 p.m. and participants are encouraged to bring a lightsaber.

The event is free and no registration is required according to the website.

Anyone interested in joining the parade can visit the registration website.
