FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Easter Bunny was a special guest at the state Capitol on Saturday.

Many Kentuckians from around the Commonwealth took advantage of the spring weather to enjoy an Easter celebration held on the grounds of the Capitol.

There were food trucks and music from the St. Stephen Church praise team as well as arts and crafts, games, and an easter egg hunt for kids.

“Super fun, it was the most funniest easter egg hunt I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of them,” said Jordan White, a kid from Lexington.

White said it was his first time visiting the Capitol and that he hopes to come again with his family next year.
