WINCHESTER, Ky. (FOX 56) – A group of elementary school students had the chance to meet potential future employers Thursday morning.
Everyone from emergency responders, medical workers, and construction came out to Conkwright and Willis H. Justice Elementary Schools in Winchester to meet with students, and tell them about what they do.
It was a mix of kindergarten through fourth-graders who explored a bunch of different career opportunities, getting a chance to physically interact with all kinds of equipment.
One student said he’s thankful for the opportunity.
“I really like learning about other stuff and how other stuff works, so it’s pretty cool to be out here learning about other people and what their jobs are like.”
