Trinity Gay mural unveiled at ballpark

LEXINGTON, Ky.  – A mural honoring one of Lexington’s recent shooting victims was completed Friday.

Friends and family members gathered as Lexington artist Dani Greene unveiled the mural honoring 15-year-old Trinity Gay. The Lafayette High School student died after being shot outside a restaurant last month.

Lexington artist Dani Greene and others created the mural. It’s displayed along a wall at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

Members of Trinity’s family, including her mother, spoke to those in attendance at the mural dedication.
